Events update: Where circular professionals will meet

Circular Rising is highlighting six major industry events taking place across Africa in the next three months. The events span the circular economy and closely related areas, bringing together stakeholders to discuss various aspects of the sector, including different waste streams, infrastructure and market-enabling conditions. 

• The events show a growing shift from broad circular-economy discussions towards specialised markets, practical implementation and the finance needed to turn resource-recovery opportunities into viable businesses.

• Kenya is the dominant host, accounting for four of the six events, while South Africa and Zambia will host one event each.
